Johnny L. Baker, 64, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at his home, Rural Vandalia, IL.

Graveside Services with Military Rites were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2018, Rosamond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, IL. He was born December 20, 1953, in Tower Hill, IL, the son of Charles & Dolly (Etheridge) Baker-Pizzo. Married Cola Cay Carroll on March 29, 1997, Mulberry Grove, IL. He was a retired truck driver for Lach Transportation, Brownstown, IL; US Army Veteran; and was affiliated with Centerpointe Church, Vandalia, Illinois.

He is survived by: Mother - Dolly Pizzo, Pana, IL; Wife - Cola Baker, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Marcus Carroll & Jami, Johnny Baker & Elizabeth and Aaron Baker & Meagan, all of Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Jerline Carroll & Fred, Taylorville, IL and Betty Carroll & Dimitri, Vandalia, IL; 6 Grandchildren; Brother - Charles Baker, Jr. & Kay, Pana, IL; and Sister - Margaret Harmston, Pana, IL.

Preceded in death by: Father; 2 Brothers; 1 Sister.
