John M. "Mack" Morell, 86, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Hillsboro Rehab & Health Care in Hillsboro, IL.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017, prior to the service, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, with Brother Ronnie Eller, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL, with Military Rites by Anderson - Scroggins Post 460, Ramsey American Legion. Memorials: Anderson-Scroggins Post 460 Ramsey Am. Legion.

Born, January 1, 1931, in Montgomery County, IL, the son of John Walter & Sina Frances (Murphy) Morell. Married Loretta M. Strohm, June 15, 1957, in Wilmington, IL. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator; Member of Local 965, Springfield, IL; First Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Ramsey, IL; and US Army Veteran.

Survived by: Wife - Loretta Morell, Ramsey, IL; Sons - Douglas R. Morell
and Christopher J. Morell & Julie, all of Ramsey, IL; Daughters - Vickie M. Long, Ramsey, IL and Connie L. Beck, Rosamond, IL; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Brothers - Raymond and Roy Morell.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Brothers - Ralph, Edwin, Charles, Willie and Teddy Dean Morell; Sisters - Martha, Ruth, Virginia and Meda; Great Granddaughter- Lonna Ann Marie Morell.
