He was born on October 31, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, the Son of John Leroy Sr. and Virginia A. (Pritchett) Bolyard. He married Glenda M. Beck, on September 19, 1965, in Ramsey, IL. He was a self employed mechanic, affiliated with the Baptist Church, & an Army Veteran.
