Jody Lynn Tinker, 52, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at SBL Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Taylor Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL with Pastor Bruce Sasse officiating. Friends may gather at the cemetery from 9:30 AM until the service time. Memorials: Second Chance Animal Rescue. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 14, 1972, in Pekin, IL, the daughter of Larry Tinker and Angela (Thacker) Workman. Jody had a heart of gold that was as big as a mansion. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved animals.

She is survived by: Father - Larry Tinker; Mother - Angie Workman; Son - Jordan Tinker & Brandy Beesley; Grandchildren - Vincent, Annaliese, and Saphira Tinker; Sister - Tina Tinker.
