Jimmy D. McNutt, 83, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at his home.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Unity Baptist Church - Rt 185, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery Fillmore, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Unity Baptist Church- Rt. 185, Vandalia, IL., with Masonic Rites at 5:30 p.m. and 1 hr. prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Memorials: Shriners Hospitals For Children.

He was born October 26, 1931, in Bingham, IL, the son Edward & Lenora J. (Harris) McNutt. Married Eleanor Wagner on June 25, 1956, Chicago, IL. He was an Army Veteran and retired Welder for Hillsboro Glass. Member of Temperance Lodge # 16, A.F.A.M. Vandalia, IL (Past Master); Ainad Temple Shrine, E. St. Louis, IL; Grand Lecturer Emeritus; VFW Post 3862 and Moose Lodge #1447, both of Vandalia, IL.

His survived by: Wife - Eleanor McNutt, Vandalia, IL; 3 Sons - Dale McNutt, Vandalia, IL, Jamie McNutt, Carbondale, IL, Leland McNutt & Amanda, Vandalia, IL; 2 Daughters - Judy McNutt & Mary, Vandalia, IL, Lenora, Murphy & Jim, Normal, IL; Daughter In-law- Janice McNutt, Vandalia, IL; Sister - Ramona Kersey, The Villages, FL; Brother - Jackie McNutt, MN; Many Grandchildren; Many Great Grandchildren.
