Jerry L. Cook, 80, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at his home in Ramsey, IL.

A Celebration for Jerry will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL. Friends may gather between 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Born April 5, 1938, in Ramsey, IL, the son of Tony Thiel & Ida Marie (Manley) Cook. Married Patricia Elizabeth Smith, October 1, 1961 in Ramsey, IL. He was a Veterinarian Tech at Heaton-Heistand Vet Hospital, Vandalia, IL and in earlier years a farmer; Affiliated with the Christian Church; and a US Army Veteran.

Survived by: Wife - Patricia Cook, Ramsey, IL; Sons - Todd Cook, Belleville, IL and Tim Cook & Amy, Ramsey, IL; Daughter - Robin Troxell & Jason, Ramsey, IL; Grandchildren - Jeremy Cook and Makayla Cook, Ramsey, IL, and Morgan Cook, Bluff City, IL; Brother - Jack Cook & Betty, Edgewood, IL; Sister - Janet Cook, Mattoon, IL; and Sisters-in-law - Kellie Cook, Olney, IL and Sandy Cook, Ramsey, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Brothers - Joe and John Cook; and 1 Infant Sister - Janine Marie.
