Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, January 12, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, with Rev. Joe Lawson & Pastor Krista Stokke, officiating. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, St. Elmo. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, January 12, 2015, prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Evans Public Library and/or Old Capital Foundations-Jennifer Knebel Scholarship Fund, c/o any First National Bank Vandalia location. She was born July 10, 1970, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Mick & Molly L. (Miller) Rogers. Married Douglas "Doug" L. Knebel on March 19, 2010, Sarasota, FL. Jennifer was a Jr. High School Teacher, Vandalia, IL ; former Girl Scout Leader & Affiliated with St. James Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL.. She is survived by: Father - Mick A. Rogers, Wrights Corner, Fayette Co., IL; Husband - Douglas "Doug" L. Knebel, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Carson & Caddie Howard, Vandalia, IL; Sister - Karla Harre & Chuck, Brownstown, IL; Step-Son - Will & Samuel Knebel, Vandalia, IL; Nephew & Niece, Logan and Avery Rogers, Brownstown, IL.
