He was born on February 16, 1957, in Dayton, OH, the son of Jess and Margaret (Mathias) Long. U.S. Army veteran and former employee at Owens Brockway Manufacturing, in Vandalia, IL. He is survived by his Mother, Margaret Long Beccue, Vandalia, IL; Daughter: Crystal Shellabarger & Trent, Vandalia, IL; and Grand Child: Brody. Preceded in death by his father.
