Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL with Pastor Terry Sapp officiating. Burial will be in Bolt Cemetery, in rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials: Bolt Cemetery. She was born on Wednesday, May 29, 1929, in rural Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Jenkins Alexander and Cleo (Hawthorne) Bolt. She married Otto Cooley on Thursday, February 02, 1961 in Cahokia, IL. Janice was a retired teacher and taught many years in Ramsey area schools. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association She is survived by Sons: Chad Cooley & Violet, Beecher City, IL and Cavit Cooley & Denise, Browns Mills, NJ, Brother: Floyd Bolt, Ramsey, IL, 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by her parents and husband.
