James "Jim" Herman Campbell, 66, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home in Ramsey, IL.

He was born January 15, 1958, in Oak Park, IL, the son of James Louis & Patricia Ellen (Faulstich) Campbell. He married Diane Lynn Hardy on October 23, 1999, in Franklin Park, IL. She passed away April 29, 2009. Also preceding him in death were his parents, James and Patricia; and his brother, Tommy Campbell. He worked as food supervisor for the Illinois Department of Corrections for over 20 years. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. and Scottish Rite.

Survived are his sons, Brian (Jessica) Hardy, of Ramsey, IL and Raymond (Kristen) Hardy, of Bloomington, IL; brother, Paul (Patti) Campbell, of Aurora, IL; and sister, Patti DeShane, of Huntley, IL. James also leaves behind his grandchildren, Gavin and Lola; and nieces and nephews, Katie, Megan, Alex, and Chris.

Memorial services will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Masonic Rites will be held at 5:00 PM to conclude the services.
