James L. Billingsley, 79, of Fillmore, IL, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs, IL. Graveside & Burial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, IL with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Friends and Family may gather at the Cemetery from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 (Before the Service). Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials: Fillmore Fire Dept and/or Nokomis High School Basketball Program. He was born on November 7, 1932, in Hillsboro, IL, the son of James Ernest and Fairy Faun (Savage) Billingsley. James married Nancy Nadine Wood on November 5, 1960 in Hillsboro, IL, she passed away September 7, 2002. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired Civil Engineer for Montgomery Co. Highway Dept., member of Fillmore Fire Dept, Retired Time Keeper for Nokomis High School Sports and member of Liberty Church, Bingham, IL. He is survived by 1Daughter: Lisa Billingsley, Nokomis, IL; Fiancee: Nadine Hurst, Fillmore, IL; 1Brother: Ronald Billingsley & Paula, Clearwater Beach, FL. He is preceded in death by Parents, Wife & 1 Sister, Betty Mae Billingsley.
