He was a retired Officer for the IL Department of Corrections , former Owner/Operator of Kidds Service Station, and a Member of First United Methodist Church, all of Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Joyce Kidd, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Jeff Kidd & Kathy, Altamont, IL, Greg Kidd, Midwest City, OK, and Mike Kidd, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Beth Coleman & Jim, Mahomet, IL; Grandchildren - Jason, Justin, Kelsi, Jon, Jay, Kylee, Dalton, Wayde, Trey & Grant; Great Grandchildren - Jill, Carson, Ethan, Kolton, Josh, Jacob, Rian & Connor; Sister - Juanita Kidd, Vandalia, IL.
