J. Mark Pope, 59, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Springfield, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Tim Logue, officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1 hr. prior to the service, Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: To The Family.
He was born October 30, 1956, in Bakersfield, CA, the son of John Wilbert & Lois Irene (Warner) Pope. Married Nellie Eva Welch on August 20, 2010, Robinson, IL.
He is survived by: Mother - Irene Pope, Vandalia, IL; Wife - Nellie Pope, Robinson, IL; Daughters - Angela Pope, Ramsey, IL; Amber Jones, Pensacola, FL; Step-Sons - Timmy Watkins, Robinson, IL, Daniel Raymer, IA and Joe Raymer, IL; Sister - Lisa Vandedrink & Douglas, St. Charles, IL; Grandchildren - Kody, Bryce, Audrey, Alena & Jimmy; Nephews - Justin & Brandon and his beloved sidekick, Buddy.
Preceded in death by: Father.
