Hughie G. Craig, 80, of Greenville, IL, formerly of Ramsey, IL, died on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Willowcreek Rehab & Nursing in Belleville, IL. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Rural Ramsey, IL with Pastor Gregg Shannon officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, in Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 16, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hour before the Service at the church. Memorials: Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, rural Ramsey, IL. Hughie was born on March 8, 1932, in Ramsey, IL, the Son of Samuel Lee and Velva Elizabeth (Moreland) Craig. He was a Air Force Veteran in the Korean Conflict, a graduate of Samford Unv. School of Law, a retired Attorney, former Minister, accomplished Musician and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rural Ramsey, IL. He is survived by Fiancée: Mary Lou Fristoe, St. Elmo, IL; Brother: Pat Craig, Ramsey, IL; Sisters: Marian Wise, Evansville, IN, Virginia Chambers, Newburg, IN and Rosie Mosby & Bill, Evansville, IN. He is preceded in death by Parents, 2 Brothers=Kenneth & Edward "Spud" Craig and 2 Sisters=Emeral Craig & Pauline Stout.
