Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with dear friend Rod Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery RFD Mulberry Grove, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1 hr before service, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Funeral Home. Memorials: Bethlehem Cemetery, RFD Mulberry Grove, IL. Howell was born February 16, 1926, in Farmersville, IL, the son of Edward & Eva (Walhofsmith) Sanders. He married Annabelle Lowis January 15, 1948 in Farmersville, IL. He was at retired Carpenter, member of Arm Prairie Christian Church and Navy WW II veteran. Survived by: Wife - Annabelle Sanders, Shobonier, IL; Son - Edwin Sanders & Susan, Newton, IL; Daughters - Sheila Sanders & Charles, St. Peter, IL and Kathy Crippen & Bob, Shobonier, IL; Sisters - Barbara Gudgel, Waggoner, IL and Edna Sanders, Taylorville, IL; 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
