Herman A. Sachteleben, Jr., 83, of Shobonier, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church Augsburg, Rural Shobonier, IL, with Pastor Timothy Landskroener officiating. Burial will follow at Augsburg Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Shobonier, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church Augsburg, Rural Shobonier, IL. Memorials: Augsburg Lutheran Cemetery. He was born November 9, 1939, in Fayette County, IL, the son of Herman A. Sr., & Julia (Gable) Sachteleben. He was a life-long farmer; avid softball player; and member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, Rural Shobonier, IL.

He is survived by: Special Friend - Todd Myers & Beth, Shobonier, IL.
