Helen "Pinkie" Moore, 95, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at , her home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Derek Mason and Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery Vandalia, IL Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church and or, Fayette County Health Department Hospice both of Vandalia, IL. Pinkie was born September 05, 1917, in rural Alton, IL,, the daughter of Thomas E. & Sarah (Taylor) Voumard. Married Dr. Stanley W. Moore September 10, 1946 in Anna, IL., he passed away June 8, 2004. She was a retired Registered Nurse, member of First Presbyterian Church and former member of , Vandalia Country and Golf Club. Pinkie was an avid golfer. She is survived by: Daughters - Mary Miller and Mark, Vandalia, IL; Beverly Mason and Wayne, Libertyville, IL; Stephanie Aldendifer and Jim, Plano, TX; Marsha Gulick and Howard, Bethlehem, PA. Grandchildren - Michelle Daniels & Mark; Mark Miller II & Brooke; Derek Mason; Brian Mason & Erin; Chad Mason & Katie; Jim, Brent and Peter Aldendifer and Sarah & John Gulick. Great Grandchildren - McKenzie & Mitchell Daniels; Ashley, Samantha & Bailey Mason; Jackson & Emma Mason. Sister-Hap Borchelt, Arthur, IL Preceded in death by: her Parents, Husband, Brothers - Sonny & Roy Voumard and Sister - Dorothy Hardbeck and Grandson.
