Hazel M. Hicks, 83, of Bingham, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Mt. Carmel Church, Rural Ramsey, IL, with Pastor Gregg Shannon, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hr. prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Memorials: Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL.

She was born July 28, 1933, in Pana, IL, the daughter of Charles Edward & Roxie Ellen (Briggs) Boles. Married Alva Milton Hicks on August 19, 1950, Vandalia, IL, he passed away Nov. 24, 2015. She was a Homemaker and a Member of Mt. Carmel Church, Rural Ramsey, IL.

She is survived by: Sons - Johnnie Hicks & Sandy and Mike Hicks & Cindy, all of Ramsey, IL, and Ronnie Hicks & Karen, Bingham, IL; Daughters - Joyce Eddy & Bob, Ramsey, IL and Brenda Eddy & Kenny, Shelbyville, IL; 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; 3 Brothers - Pearl, Bill & Fred and 2 Sisters - Blanche & Ethel.
