Hans J. Rollinger, M.D, 85, of Vandalia, died on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL with Dr. Peter Kollinger speaking. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL (2 hours before the service). Memorials: Fayette County Hospital and/or Evans Public Library both in Vandalia, IL. Hans was born on June 22, 1926, in Vienna, Austria the son of Dr. Johann and Maria (Gossmann) Rollinger. He married Gloria Ellen Barenfanger nee Thistlethwaite on March 8, 1983 in Vandalia, IL. He was a retired Physician & Surgeon and a Fayette County Hospital Board member. He is survived by wife: Gloria Rollinger of Vandalia, IL and 3 Daughters: Ulli Munroe & Steve, Ocala, FL; Doris Motz & Sepp, Vienna, Austria; Tori Whitfield & Steve, Navarre, FL 3 Step Sons: Charles Barenfanger & Linda, Vandalia, IL; Walt Barenfanger & Paula, Mulberry Grove, IL ; Chris Barenfanger, Belize. Also 10 Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Parents.
