Gwendolyn R. Drake, 84, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Vandalia, IL.
Private family burial will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.
She was born March 20, 1932, in Catron, MO, the daughter of Orlando & Ruby Kathaleen (Brooks) Smith.
She is survived by: Brother - Terry Smith, Decatur, IL; Sisters - June Skaggs, Drumright, OK, Etta Tally & Louise Turin, both of Saint Louis, MO; Doris Buttry, Norristown, PA & Madonna Schoen, New Berlin, IL.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Brothers - Hickman & Harold Smith; Sisters - Genalee, Irene & Sonda.
