Grace O. Beesley, 99, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Vandalia, IL.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Liberty Cemetery, Mulberry Grove, with Rev. Norris Price, officiating. Friends & family will gather at the cemetery @ 9:45 AM. Memorials: Woburn Baptist Church, RFD Greenville, IL.
She was born, February 10, 1917, in Mulberry Grove Twp.,Bond County, IL, the daughter of Clarence Edward & Nellie Pearle (Walker) Wright. Married Robert Adolph Beesley, May 21, 1935, Vandalia, IL, he passed away July 17, 1973. She was a homemaker; formerly employed in the Housekeeping Department at Greenville Hospital and a member of Woburn Baptist Church, Rural Greenville, IL.
She is survived by: Grandsons - Terry Beesley & Cassie, Vandalia, IL and David Smith & Angie, Yale, IL; Great Grandchildren - Matthew Smith, and Tucker & Jonah Beesley; and Great Great Granddaughter - Mykaela Smith.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband - Robert Adolph Beesley; Son - Robert E. Beesley; Daughter - Delores Olson; Sister - Nellie Obanion; and Grandson - Doug Smith.
