Burial will be in Myers Cemetery with Military Rites, in Herrick, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, before service, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department-Home Health, Vandalia, IL. He was born on July 14, 1928, in Ramsey, IL, the Son of Glenn Voris and Nellie (Cutler) Hunter Sr. He married Brenda L. (Cathey) on, May 16, 1951 in Waukegan, IL, Brenda passed away March 12, 2006. He was a Cattle Farmer and a Stock Hauler; member of Anderson-Scoggins, Post 460 American Legion, Ramsey, IL; affiliated with Herrick Baptist Church, Herrick, IL and a 20 yr U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by 1 Brother: Bill Hunter & Friend, Annette of Belleville, IL; 2 Nephews: Gary Hunter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and John Hunter of Millstadt, IL; 3 Great Nieces: Tara, Tiffany & Casey and Great Nephew: Beau; Several cousins, Special Friends; Karen Saunders of Ramsey, IL. & Louise Haun of Decatur, IL He is preceded in death by Parents & Wife.
