He was born, April 13, 1937, in rural Brownstown, IL, the son of Verna A. & Beulah R. (Galligher) Doehring. Married Shirley J. Daniels, April 15, 1957, in Vandalia, IL. She passed away August 14, 2011. Glenn was a Supervisor for over 37 years at John Crane Packing Co., Vandalia, IL; Marine Corps Veteran and member of Overcup Baptist Church, rural Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Son - G.K. Doehring , Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Brenda Guffey & Aaron and Kim Martin & Daniel, all of Vandalia, IL; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife, Shirley J. Doehring; 2 Brothers: Vern D. Davis and Carl F. Doehring.
