Geraldine Doris (Largent) Mosley Hipsher, 92, of Brownstown, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, in Vandalia.

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Unity Baptist Church, Rt. 185 in Rural Vandalia, IL, with the Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow at McInturff Cemetery, in Rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8p.m,Thursday, May 7th and 1 hr. before service Friday May 8th, at Unity Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials: St. Peter Lutheran School Tuition Assist. She was born on September 02, 1922, in Macon County, IL, the daughter of Vern Sherwood and Esther Estella (Elam) Largent. She married Robert Sterling Mosley on May 17, 1940, in St. Charles, Mo., he passed away April 9, 1977, she later married William "Shorty" E. Hipsher on December 22, 1979, in Vandalia, he passed away December 6, 1999. Geraldine was a homemaker & member of Hurricane Baptist Church & affiliated with Unity Baptist Church, both of Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by Sons: Robert "Bob" Mosley, Mulberry Grove, IL & Roger Mosley, Brownstown, IL; Daughters: Doris Young & Ed, St. Peter, IL, Linda Dugan & Donna Knebel & Kevin, all of Vandalia, IL; Sister: Norma Pulst, Chillicothe, IL; Step Sons: Alvin "Sonny" Hipsher & Marie; Ronnie Hipsher & Jeanie; Robert Hipsher & Sandy; George Hipsher & Beverly; Leslie Hipsher & Daisy & David Hipsher & Vicki & Step-Daughter: Judy Palecek & Dan; Grandchildren: Jeff & John; David, Duane & Darin; Robbie, Ronnie, Roy, Shelley, Veronica, Ryan & Crystal; Cori, Cary, Roger Jr., Marcus & Monica; Ty, Tim & Tiffany.
