Freddy Lee Bauerle, 74, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at his home in Ramsey, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL with Rev. Gary Bauerle officiating. Private burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials: Ramsey American Legion and/or Vandalia Moose Lodge. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 5, 1949, in Pana, IL, the son of Freddie Leon "Newt" & Jessie Caroline (Finley) Bauerle. He married Susan Diane Hill on July 8, 1972, in Ramsey, IL. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 20 years, as a timberman, and serviced several cemeteries in Fayette County. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era; was a member of the VFW and Vandalia Moose Lodge; he loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer and enjoyed mushroom hunting.

Survived by: Wife - Susan Bauerle, Rasmey, IL; Son - Shawn Bauerle, Mt Zion, IL; Daughter - Jessica Rolf & Chris, Winfield, MO; Grandchildren - Dalen, Nathan, Connor, Kylie, Cameron and Annalee; Brothers - Rev. Gary Bauerle & Robin, Mt. Zion, IL and Pedo Bauerle & Becky, Vandalia, IL.
