Florence M. "Flossie" Brown, 90, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, IL, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020, at Vandalia Rehab & Healthcare Ctr., Vandalia, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 10, 2020, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL, with Rev. Gregg Shannon, officiating. She was born June 20, 1929, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Forrest Clifford & Josie Lenora (Williams) Beck Rhodes. Married Albert L. Brown "Slim" February 8, 1948, Ramsey, IL, he passed away November 14, 2000. She was a retired clerk from Staff's IGA in Ramsey, IL and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL.

Survived by: Sons - Paul L. Brown & Addie and Michael L. Brown, all of Columbus, OH; Sister - Ada Diveley, Center Point, IA; and Niece - Nancy Johnson, Decatur, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; and several brothers and sisters.
