Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL with Rev. David Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM ( 1 hour before service) Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Evans Public Library. Fay was born on May 29, 1922, in Hurst, IL, the daughter of Earnest August and Bessie Mae (Biggs) Bantel. She married James Lavern Williams on August 3, 1940 in Murphysboro, IL., Lavern passed away June 6, 2000. Fay was a homemaker and former member of Bethel Baptist Church & Fayette County Home Extension both of Vandalia, IL She is survived by Sons: Jim Williams & Donna, Mt. Olive, IL; John Williams & Shanda, Vandalia, IL Daughters: Pat Willard & David, Marion, IL; Jean Jahnssen & Dennis, Marion, IL; Nancy Barr & Mark, New Liberty, IA; Sister Dorris Ragsdale, Centralia, IL; 10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 1 sister and son in-law, Gary Wyant.
