Everett "Butch" M. Brown, Jr., 62, of Brownstown, IL, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at his home. Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Dan Rush officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia (before the service) Memorials: To the Family. Butch was born on August 11, 1949, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Everett Melvin and Carrie Marie (Harris) Brown Sr. He married Mary Donaldson on August 2, 1980 in Otego Twp., Fayette Co., IL. Butch was an employee at Vandalia Walmart in the Maintenance Dept. and formerly worked at Fedders in Effingham, IL. He was a member of Fillmore Sportsman Lake, Fillmore, IL and North American Fishing Assoc. He is survived by wife, Mary Brown of Brownstown, IL; 1 Son: Brian Brown & Fiancee Monica Harre of Vandalia, IL; 1 Daughter: Carrie Kimberlin & Chad of Brownstown, IL; 1Grandson: Brenton Riley Bliss; 1 Aunt: Bernadine Stanley of Vandalia, IL; Several Cousins and Many, Many Friends. He is preceded in death by Parents and 1Infant Sister, Janice Kay.
