Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May, 22, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Leon Goff, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. She was born March 28, 1918, in Loogootee, IL, the daughter of Harold Dale & Lucy Ellen (Lape) Ervin. Married Nelson George Grotts, December 28, 1938, St. Louis, MO, he passed away Nov. 20, 1975. She was a retired Inspector at Crane Packing Co., Vandalia, IL and affiliated with the Assembly Of God Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: 3 Sons - Samuel R. Grotts & Susan, Bob J. Grotts & Betty and Jim N. Grotts & Sharon, all of Pana, IL; 13 Grandchildren - Reba Trelz & Rick, Rob Grotts & Tammy, Becky Miller & Kent, Paula Broux & Jeff, Kris Sheley & Ryan, Kelly Butts & Jon, Karla Sullivan & Greg, Kathy Suter & Marvin, Sam Grotts Jr. & Cindi, Kim Bennett & Bryan, Tim Grotts & Margie, Rick Grotts & Brooke, Sherri Grotts; 32 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
