Esther E. Washburn, 85, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, IL passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at Lakeland Rehab & Nursing Care, Effingham, IL.

Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, RFD Ramsey, IL, with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Family and Friends will gather at 10:30 AM before the service at the Cemetery. Memorials: Liberty Church, Bingham, IL and/or Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Born November 11, 1934, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Asberry & Vina Belle (Rhodes) Brown. Married Gerald "Spud" Washburn, he passed away in 1993. She was formerly employed with the housekeeping staff at a Nursing Home in MO., and affiliated with Liberty Church, Rural Bingham, IL.

Survived by:Daughter - Gail Womack & Dave, Williamsburg, MO;Grandchildren - Sheila Lidster, Nokomis, IL, Sandy Meyers, Toledo, IL, Kevin Eddy, Bingham, IL, John Womack, ME, and Roger Womack, MO.; Several Great Grandchildren; and Several Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Son - Gerald "Jerry" Washburn, Jr.; Daughter - Brenda Lawyer; Brothers - Gerald, Victor, Asberry Jr., Eugene, Noah, Wilton & Esty Brown;Sisters - Izola Green, Ruth Roos, and Polly Washburn; and Granddaughter, Kim Brown Eddy.
