Elmo Sergent, Jr., 72, of Ramsey, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Ramsey. A private family gathering to celebrate his life is planned in Amoret, MO at a later date. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Mr. Sergent was born on November 14, 1938, in Amoret, MO, the Son of Elmo Purl and Thelma Frances (McGuire) Sergent. He married Carolyn Sue (Stark) on January 18, 1964. He was employed by Worksaver Inc. in Litchfield, IL and had recently retired after 27 years. He is survived by wife, Carolyn Sergent of Ramsey, IL Daughters, Teresa Hortenstine of Ramsey, IL, Stacy Donaldson of Litchfield, IL, Karen Sergent-Rakers of Snow Hill, NC, Angela Sergent of Dacula, GA, Brother, Ronnie Sergent of LaCygne, KS and Sister, Mary Walley of Amoret, MO, 8 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
