Elizabeth A. Carter, 28, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, in El Paso, TX.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M.,Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Terry Westerfield officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery Vandalia, IL, Visitation will be held from 9 - 11 A.M. before service at the Church. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department, Vandalia, IL, . She was born Tuesday, March 20, 1990, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Torney R. Carter & Terese A. (Beutenmiller) Sikma. Elizabeth was a U. S. Army Veteran.

She is survived by: Father - Torney R. Carter & Patty; Mother - Terese A. (Beutenmiller) Sikma & Byron, all of Vandalia, IL, Several Brothers & Sisters.

Preceded in death by: Paternal Grandparents - Ernie & Opal Carter and Maternal Grandparents - Ernest & Joyce Beutenmiller.
