Edward "Ed" M. Kulesza, 84, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 12, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Tim Logue, officiating.Burial will follow at Green-Hill Cemetery Rural Fillmore, IL, with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 and Brownstown VFW Post 9770. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, August 12, 2019, before the service, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials:Green-Hill Cemetery. He was born, April 2, 1935, in East St. Louis, IL, the son of Edward J & Lottie (Kryuske) Kulesza. Married Deanna L. Snow on April 29, 1962 in, Vandalia, IL. Graduated from Central Catholic High School, East St. Louis, IL in 1953 and attended college S.I U in Carbondale for 2 years.Ed was a member of Bethel Baptist Church since 1972 and a U.S. Army Korean SP4 Veteran. He was formerly employed at McDonald Aircraft in St. Louis, MO for 3 years, following the service; Farmed for 30 years in Rural Vandalia & Fillmore and later worked for Woolsey Brothers for 18 yrs as a Nurse Tank Driver.

He is survived by: Wife - Deanna Kulesza, Vandalia, IL; 2 Sons- Matthew Kulesza, Effingham, IL and Raymond "Ray" Kulesza, Vandalia, IL;Grandchildren - Lucas Kulesza and Justin Kulesza; Step Grandchildren - Sara Wilson & Jimmy and Kristina Verdeyen; Great Grandchildren - Mason Kulesza and Kingston Kulesza; Step Gt Grandchildren - Maci & Layni Wilson; Sister - Mary J. Diehl-Evans, NC.
