Earl D. Denning, 76, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating. Burial will follow at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post #95, Vandalia, IL and Brownstown VFW Post #9770. He was born February 23, 1946, in Chester, IL, the son of Frank Dean & Norma Ruth (King) Denning. Married Twyla J. Haynes on November 22, 2016, in Jackson, MO. He was an Auto Mechanic, working on all kinds of cars and trucks, US Army Veteran-Vietnam, Helicopter Mechanic; and Member of Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia, IL. Earl was considered a "jack of all trades." He loved going to auctions and buying and selling automobiles, having owned 2 car dealerships of his own.

He is survived by: Wife - Twyla Denning, Vandalia, IL; Brother - Kent Denning & Barbara, Shobonier, IL; Daughter - Tammy Compton & Loran Todd, Vandalia, IL; and Granddaughter - Nicole Compton, Vandalia, IL.

Preceded in death by: His parents; and 1 Brother - Donald Denning.
