Earl L. Brackenbush, 85, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2016, at Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 09, 2016, at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Carl Rhodes, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, May 09, 2016, at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.
He was born January 25, 1931, in Bingham, IL, the son of Clarence C. & Frieda B. (Donaldson) Brackenbush. Married Ruth Anna Carson on May 11, 1955, Ramsey, IL. He was a retired Customer Engineer for I.B.M., U.S. Korean Army Veteran and a Member of Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife - Ruth Brackenbush, Vandalia, IL; Sons - David Brackenbush & Anna, Panama, IL and John Brackenbush & Kim, Indian Trail, NC; Daughter - Janet Zehnacker & Rich, Omaha, NE; Grandchildren - Julie, Ryan, Sara & Carson and Great Grandchildren - Jack, Anna, Sam, Ryden & Blakelyn.
Preceded in death by: Parents.
