Doyet Davis, 84, of Nokomis, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2020, at Grace Fellowship Church, Fillmore, IL, with Pastor Myron Kirk, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2020, prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Grace Fellowship Church, Fillmore, IL. Born May 10, 1935, in Fayette County, IL, the son of Wilbert H. & Maggie E. Murkins Davis. Married Dorothy Groves, later married Robin Dickerson and then Debra Godwin. He was a homebuilder, worked his whole life building things; and was affiliated with Grace Fellowship Church, Fillmore, IL.

Survived by: Sons - Dean Davis & Brenda, West Frankfort, IL and Ben Davis & Estelle, Ramsey, IL; Daughters - Karen Hebenstreit & Paul and Jackie Sutton & Jeff, all of Ramsey, IL; Brothers - Joe Davis & Sylvia, Oconee, IL, Gale Davis & Barb, Ramsey, IL and Jerry Davis & Nancy, Moweaqua, IL; Several Grand and Great Grandchildren; Special Grandson - Clifton Davis & Amanda, Nokomis, IL.
