Dorothy Lee Green, 87, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday May 10, 2023 at McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at McInturff Cemetery Rural Vandalia, IL, Memorials: Fayette County Cancer Fund. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy was born March 10, 1936, in Madison, IL, the daughter of Gilbert & Ivy Lee (Shemwell) Walker. She married Virgil Leroy Philip Walter Green on December 22, 1951 in Venice, Illinois, he passed away May 16, 2016. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed her time with her children.

She is survived by: Son - Patrick Green & Julie, Vandalia IL; 2 Daughters - Patty Marler & David, Mulberry Grove, IL, and Tammy Lett & Charlie, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Shawna Sprague & David, Samantha Hill & Jacob, Seth Marler, Shelby Wehrle & Dalton, Jenna Lett, Rachel Holman & Devin and Keith Green; and Great Grandchildren - Shawn and Ty Hill, Weston, Cooper, Sloane and Brody Wehrle and Avery Holman and Clara Lee Sprague.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; and Sister - Barbara in infancy.
