Dorothy Darlene Jones, 84, of Altamont, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Mound Cemetery, Oconee, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the service time at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Alzheimer's Association. She was born March 31, 1939, in Montgomery County, IL, the daughter of Ralph I. & Genevieve (Sanders) Skinner-Neuenschwander. She worked as a CNA at the Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL, and was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by: Son - Mark Carroll & Debi, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Cindy Scribner & Clem, Ramsey, IL and Tina Cook & Brian, Mulberry Grove, IL; Step-Son - Matt Jones, Ava, MO;15 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Brother - Robert Skinner, Florida; and Sister - Ruth Ann Brown, Vandalia, IL.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents; Sister - Judy Rhodes; and Brothers - Donald and James Skinner.
