Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 03, 2015, at Reiss Chapel in Lake View Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL, with Rev. Dr. Martha Thierheimer, officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, July 03, 2015, 1 hr. prior to the service at Lake View Memorial Gardens. Memorials: United Church of Christ, American Diabetes Assoc. and/or Donor's Choice. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements, with Lake View Memorial Gardens, assisting on the service.

She was born July 03, 1922, in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Jacob & Sophia (Seiffertt) Yocks. Married Leslie William Schneider on July 06, 1940, O'Fallon, IL. Les passed away May 16, 1967. Dorothy was a retired cook for the O'Fallon Township High School, Member of The United Church of Christ, O'Fallon, IL; & Women of the Moose, Belleville, IL Lodge.

She is survived by: Son - Drew Schneider & Sherry, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Denise Berk & Mike, Woodlawn, IL; Sister - Mae Schoenborn, Lake Panasoffkee, FL; Grandchildren - Jason Berk & Amber, Justin Berk & Ashleigh, Brandon Berk & Jami, Drew Schneider & Jenna, Dawn Rosborough & Joe and Gretchen Bland & Carter; Great Grandchildren - Carly, Drake, Nolan, Griffin, Sydney, Nicholas, Colton, Alyssa, Ava, Ethan, Ayden, Camryn and several Nephews and Nieces.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband, Les; Special friend Pros Weyhaupt; 4 Brothers - Leroy, Clifford, Charles (Bud), and Wilbert (Bill) Yocks; 2 Sisters - Ruth Ross and Betty McCollem.
