Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Green-Hill Cemetery, Rural Fillmore, IL., with the Rev. Father Joseph Havrilka officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Fayette County Health Dept. She was born on March 05, 1932, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Peter and Hattie (Doutchmanek) Chaparas. She married Dominic A. Farace April, 21, 1951, in St. Louis, MO. She was a Homemaker and was Affiliated with Mother of Dolores Catholic Church, Vandalia, IL. Dorothy is survived by husband, Dominic "Don" Farace of Vandalia, IL; Son: John Farace, St. Louis, MO; Daughters: Lori Ward and Jim and Chris Hill and Jeff, all of Vandalia, IL and Paulette Foster and Glenn, Highland, IL; Brother: Jim Chaparas, St. Louis, MO.; 8 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: Parents and 1 Brother.
