Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Jerry Bagwell, officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 A.M., 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery and/or Crossroad Cancer Center, Effingham, IL. She was born January 15, 1937, in Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Albert H. & Esther A. (Freitag) Hulskotter. Married Sherrell Pittenger on August 08, 1957, in Vandalia, IL. She was a retired Teller at First Bank; former employee Princess Peggy and a Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, all of Vandalia, IL. She is survived by: Husband - Sherrell Pittenger, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Danny Pittenger, Vandalia, IL & Rick Pittenger & Amy, Brownstown, IL; Brothers - Richard Hulskotter & Carol, Effingham, IL; Raymond Hulskotter & Libby, Tuscaloosa, AL; Derald Hulskotter & Kay, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Ashley Pittenger; Great Grand Child - Trevan Pittenger.
