Doris Jean Street, age 92, of Vandalia, IL passed away at her home surrounded by family on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Doris was born July 22, 1933 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Ralph Radcliff Sr. and Ethel Gladys (Ritter) Radcliff. She married John "Butch" Street on April 18, 1953 in Mattoon, IL. Doris attended Parkview Free Methodist church in Vandalia. She was a Cubs fan, loved to crochet, garden, and play pinochle.

She is survived by her husband; John Street, her children; Jim Street of Vandalia, IL, Pat (Chuck) Jones of Vandalia, IL, and Peg Street of Washington, MO, seven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Ralph Street Jr., Evadine Craig, and Helen Walker, and her daughter in law; Marlene Street.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, IL, officiated by Pastor Joe Lawson. A visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Ritter Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. Memorial donations can be made out to Ritter Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL is in charge of arrangements.
