Doris Elaine Myers, age 84, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 surrounded by family at her residence in Ramsey, IL.

Doris was born November 15, 1941 the daughter of Harold Schultz and Audra (Petty) Schultz in Bingham, IL. She married James Arthur Myers on March 11, 1961 in Bingham, IL. He passed March 21, 2000. She went to school for cosmetology and worked as a hairdresser for many years, as well managing a bakery. Doris enjoyed word searches, playing Skip Bo, reading, and traveling. She was a member of Ramsey Christian Church's bible study and Golden Circle in Ramsey, IL.

She is survived by her daughter; Deanna Myers, her grandchildren; Valerie (Hayden) Hanko, and Leanna (Heaven) Drury, her great grandchildren; Maci Luttrell, Ryder Luttrell, Ridlee Drury, and her siblings; Joyce Thompson, Joan Hicks, and Edward (Phyllis) Schultz.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Myers, her aunt; Jean McDaniel, and her brothers-in-law; Harry "Junior" Thompson and Jack Hicks.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL, officiated by Pastor Joe Lawson. A visitation will be held prior from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. The burial will follow the services at Odd Fellows Woodlawn Cemetery in Moweaqua, IL. Memorial donations can be made out to Golden Circle Meals on Wheels, or Quad City Hospice. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL is in charge of arrangements.
