Diana Kay Shepard, 74, of Bowling Green, KY, and Vandalia, IL, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Medical Center Health in Bowling Green, KY.

Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, two and a half hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials: PreBorn Organization. She was born October 25, 1949, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Richard W. & Marilyn (Storr) Starofsky. She married Brian Douglas Shepard on August 30, 1969, in Milan, IL. She worked as a sign language interpreter for the Decatur Public School System and was affiliated with the American Baptist Church.

She is survived by: Husband - Brian D. Shepard, Bowling Green, KY; Son - Matthew Shepard & Dawn Green, Mesa, AZ; Daughter - Melissa Watson & Wade, Bowling Green, KY; Grandchildren - Bailey and Emma; Sisters - Sandra Schumaker & Dave, Milan, IL and Deborah Secor & John, Louisville, KY.
