Dennis Eugene "Denny" Hall, 76, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Aperion Care in St. Elmo, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 2, 2024, at First Church of God, Vandalia, IL with Pastor Zach Schaeffer officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Bolt Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, December 2, 2024, at the church. Memorials: Bolt Cemetery. He was born May 29, 1948, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Emmett Fielding & Emma Elizabeth (Manley) Hall. He married Cynthia Kathleen "Kathy" Smith on December 12, 1992, in Ramsey, IL. He worked as a mail carrier for 40 years before retirement and also worked at Rural King. He loved farming and did so for many years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was a double Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the First Church of God in Vandalia, IL and the Ramsey American Legion.

He is survived by: Wife - Kathy Hall, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Jason Lowery & Jennifer, Vandalia, IL and Nathan Mackiewicz & Jenee, St. Charles, MO; Daughters - Joleen Murray & Dustin and Christine Mackiewicz & Gary Hopper, all of Vandalia, IL; 21 Grandchildren; Brother - Bonnie Ross Hall & Pam; Sister - Judy Ralston, all of Ramsey, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Step-Mother; Grandson - Davian; Brother-in-law - Earl Ralston.
