Darrel E. Brown, 75, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 25, 2019, at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Robert Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL and 1 hr. prior to the service on Monday at the church. Memorials: Fourgiven Quartet. He was born September 11, 1944, in Vera , IL, the son of Nova L. "Deacon" & Bessie Mae (Hunter) Brown. Married Ruth Ann Skinner on December 22, 1963, Ramsey, IL. He was a Retired District Sales Manager for Garst Seed Co.; U.S. Army Veteran; and member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Ruth Ann Brown, Vandalia, IL; Son - Michael Brown & Kathy, Gainsville, GA; Daughter - Angela Reeter & Matt, Vandalia, IL; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren and 1 on the way; and Sister - Donna Slaughter, Maryville, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Infant Son - Darren Brown; Infant Daughter - Dawn Brown; and Brother - Lawrence Brown.
