Dale L. Neisler, 87, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at his home in Ramsey.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL with Services following at 11:00 AM. Pastor Terry Sapp and Pastor Larry Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery,Fillmore, IL with Military Rites at the cemetery.

Dale was born on June 24, 1934, in Witt Township, IL, the son of Earl Newell & Grace Martha (Snook) Neisler. A 1952graduate of Fillmore Community High School, Dale worked on the Nickel Plate Road prior to enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1954.

Dale married Joyce Marilyn Alexander onApril 10, 1955, at the United Methodist Church in Fillmore, IL. Dale and Joyce moved to St. Louis in 1959 where Dale studied electronics atBaileyTechnical School. Dale then hired atAT&T in September, 1960 as an Electronic Technician where he enjoyeda 35-year career.

Dale and Joyce lived in St. Louis 38 years, raising their four children and attending the First Church of God of St. Louis and later the First Christian Church of Florissant, MO. Upon retirement, Dale and Joyce relocated to Ramsey, IL in 1997.They accepted the role ofcaretakers for the Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL. serving the community for over 10 years.During their time at the funeral home Dale and Joyceenjoyed old friendships and cherished making many newones.

Dale was a US Air Force Veteran, member of Ramsey Lions, Ramsey American Legion Post #460, andanElder Emeritus oftheRamsey Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Neisler, Ramsey, IL; three sons, Hal Neisler & Jill, Festus, MO;Jared Neisler & Marcia, Ballwin, MO; Tim Neisler & Jennifer, Florissant, MO; and daughter Joy Wingfield & Timothy, Walland, TN.

Eight grandchildren: Alexander, Kacie, Carly, Trent, Jordan, Cameron,Connor and Courtney; and one great-grandchild, Frances "Frankie" Grace.

Also surviving are two brothers, Don Neisler & June, Athens, IL and Darrell Neisler & Beverly, Pawnee, IL. The family is forever thankful for Dale's caregivers: Esta Johnson, Margarita Mays, Charity Layton, Alisha Russell, Jeri Lyn Carrell, Courtney Koski and Susan Lowrance. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda and husband Larry Arndt, all of Fillmore, IL.
