Clarence Denver Ricke, Jr. "C.D.", age 90, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Greenville Nursing Rehab, in Greenville, Illinois.

He was born March 19, 1935 in Fillmore, Illinois the son of Clarence Denver Ricke Sr. and Kathryn Irene (Harrison). He married Beverly Kay Azbell on June 2, 1956 in Morton, Illinois. Clarence worked as a Development Analyst for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois. He was later a manager for Tuloma Fertilizer Plant in Van Burensburg, Illinois and also farmed with his son Kevin for 50 years. Clarence was a member of the Fayette Co. Farm Bureau and served on South Hurricane Township Board.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Beverly, sons; Dr. Steven Ricke & Nita of Oregon, WI, Kevin Ricke & Julie of Bingham, IL, grandchildren; Meghan Wendt & Dan, Victoria Skogen & Griffin, and Joshua Ricke, great-grandchildren; Krista, Kaylee, and Rebecca.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nelda June Koonce.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:30 am at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. A visitation will be held at the cemetery at 10:00 am. Memorials can be made out to Glendale Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
