Charles E. Smith, 90, of Pana, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at Pana Community Hospital, Pana, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL, with Pastor RonaldBrown officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 9:30 AM. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Born October 3, 1929, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Charles Donald & Wilma (Elam) Smith. Married Lorna Burrus on December 3, 1960, in Herrick, IL, she passed away January 23, 2012. He was retired from Caterpillar after 30 years. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church. Charles loved being with his grandchildren and gardening.

Survived by: Son - Charles E. Smith, IL, Kenneth J. Smith, Pharr, TX, Richard E. Smith, Pana, IL and David L. Smith & Jennifer, Riverdale, GA; Daughter - Kimberly Smith & Josh Koons, Pana, IL; Step-Brother - Gilbert Olive & Gloria, Mulberry Grove, IL; 7 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife; Brothers - Rex and Kenneth; Sister - Virginia; and Step-Mother - Hattie Smith.
