Charles Edward Eddy, 77, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at Aperion Care in St. Elmo, IL.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM. Memorials: Ramsey Saddle Club. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 18, 1946, in Ramsey, IL, the son of Richard Charles & Dorothy Melida (Krueger) Eddy. He worked in Maintenance Fabrication at GSI for 40 years; served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, for which he received a Purple Heart; was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

Survived by: Son - Kevin Eddy & Lindy, Bingham, IL; Daughter - Sandra Meyers & Darryl Baker, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Tasia Dial, Nathan Davis, Quinton Eddy, Dustin Wemple, Allyshae Meyers, Roni Blazick, Jacey Skaggs, Caleb Brown, Rhiannon Brown; Brothers - Raymond Eddy & Sharon, David Eddy & Erma, Gordon Eddy, Robert Eddy & Joyce, Norman Eddy & Carolyn, Allen Eddy & Shirley, all of Ramsey, IL, and Kenneth Eddy & Brenda, Shelbyville, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Daughter - Kimberly Brown; Brothers - Richard "Butch", Paul, Kermit, and Dean Eddy.
